Does dubai have a lot of oil

Very well put…. I just arrived in Dubai to live. I have read a lot and understand what it is to be here, you come here doing the homework first. I am from New Zealand, which is a very liberal advanced country far different from the UAE. But I have come here to experience a different world and be part of another culture. Dubai which is one of the 7 emirates of UAE doesn't have oil of its own but the capital of UAE- Abu Dhabi has abundance of it. Due to the availability of oil and it's strategic location in the map, UAE was able to grow exponentially in the last 2 decades.
