The odds of the federal funds target rate reaching the zero bound (0-0.25%) are about 43% by the April meeting. Those odds don’t rise much for future meetings. It’s interesting to note that the Fed Funds futures are showing slight odds (1%) that the federal funds rate will be down by only 25 bps by the December meeting.
